Masks have always intrigued me: my theatrical training many years ago often included mask work, movement, music and dance. I fell in love with the intrigue of what lie behind the mask; who was real, the actor, or the character they portrayed, and as I grew into my life, I was drawn towards creating paintings, then sculpting, then creating the masks–some of which you see here.
